Mitcham Driving School delivers every lesson in a modern dual control car with both an automatic and a manual option, each fitted with an instructor brake and clutch for safe intervention during a lesson.

Learners choose the transmission they want to test in, and most stay with the same car across their package so the vehicle feels familiar on test day.

Our cars are serviced regularly and meet VicRoads requirements for use in the practical driving test.

Mitcham Driving School teaches new VicRoads learner permit holders the practical driving skills required for the VicRoads test, typically taken at the Bayswater or Burwood East test centre.

We also teach drivers converting from an automatic-only licence to manual, and refresher students returning to the road after a long break. Each path is delivered as either single lessons or as part of a driving lesson package in Mitcham.
